A WALLAN local was the centre of attention last week on radio station Nova 100 Melbourne’s Jase, Lauren and Clint, winning their hide and seek contest and pocketing a handy prize sum.
Debbie has competed in the competition since it began, hunting the radio hosts in random places across the city giving out clues on the radio.
“For this competition in particular I have played every single round they have done, but never quite got there. This time was amazing!” She said.
She was thrilled with the prize money, winning $10,000 which she says will help her family massively.
“The money will do so much for my family. We have so many birthdays between now and Christmas, we’d love to finish our landscaping, and maybe a sneaky trip to Bali.” she said.
The mother of three was determined win, bringing along her daughter Maddi who helped her along the way, as they found the hosts in record breaking time.
It shows that hard work and dedication can pay off, even on radio show contests!
