AUSNET is conducting aerial inspections in helicopters over the next couple of days, starting yesterday and concluding on Friday.
They’ll be covering Beveridge, Broadford, Clonbinane, Donnybrook, Seymour, Sunday Creek, Tallarook, Wandong, Whittlesea and Willowmavin across the five day period.
AusNet conducts these inspections to identify, monitor and repair any wear and tear on powerlines and poles to make sure the electricity supply across the regions network remains safe and reliable.
While severe storm events can impact the network unexpectedly, routine aerial inspections help support reliable and safe electricity supply for the local communities.
