LIGHTNING PREMIERSHIP FOR THE UNDER 10S
Broadford Junior Football Netball Club’s (BJFNC) Under 10s had a lightning premiership at Kings Park at the weekend, on what proved to be a stellar day for footy.
With an amazing performance from the kids all season, the day was a great opportunity for them to get a taste of what is to come next!
A round robin format saw the Under 10s face off against Tabilk and Wandong, both dominant games for the team who boasted a win in each.
The win saw the team compete against St Mary’s in the Grand Final, with another fantastic performance resulting in the side winning their very first premiership.
GRAND FINAL FOR THE UNDER 14S
Kings Park also hosted the Grand Final for BJFNC’s U14s at the weekend.
In the lead up to the game, the team’s focus was on perfecting fundamentals and making sure that practice on the track was taken onto the field, which the team mastered.
From the first quarter, the Roos set the tone of the game, winning each quarter as it came.
At the final siren, the dominating performance saw the Roos run away with a 47 point win.
The BJFNC would like to congratulate all their players and thank them for an amazing season, with both teams a joy to coach.
