IT was a double dose of joy across Victoria as schools celebrated 100 days for preps on Friday, while for Wallan’s Muyan Primary School, they marked 100 days of operations.
Muyan brought about a whole school assembly to mark the celebrations of its growth, with a slideshow showcasing the early history of the school, while parents were also invited for food and coffee through Prace.
The celebrations were led by principal Neil O’Sullivan, with parents and children later joining together in classrooms to showcase the work that’s been done around the school.

Last week also marked the first 100 days of school for prep students at St Mary’s Primary School, and their theme to make the tradition was ‘100 days brighter’.
Kids and teachers dressed up in their brightest clothing and took part in multiple activities throughout the day including cookie decorating, monster making and a board game session.
The day is an important reminder to celebrate the little things, serving as a fun year-round tradition across many school in Victoria.
