NEWLY-ELECTED Thomastown Ward councillor Chaman Tiwari was officially sworn in by the City of Whittlesea ahead of its council meeting next Tuesday night.
Cr Tiwari was sworn in on July 3, following the by-election earlier this year, which was triggered following Nic Brooks’ resignation.
The City of Whittlesea said they are looking forward to Cr Tiwari’s contribution.

“Over the coming weeks, Cr Tiwari will participate in Council’s comprehensive induction program as she commences her role,” they said.
“We warmly welcome Cr Tiwari to the City of Whittlesea and look forward to her contributions to our community.”
