MITCHELL police officers caught a drink driver attempting to leave the Red Lion Hotel in Kilmore.
The male driver of a white Toyota Corolla left the Red Lion at approximately 1.30am on Sunday, May 24, and caught the attention of officers by revving his engine as he drove past police.
Police pulled the Corolla up, and a probational licence was produced by the driver.
The driver returned a positive breath test roadside and a positive evidentiary breath test at Wallan Police Station, blowing .158. The driver was suspended from driving for 12 months, and will receive a Summons to attend court.
