WHITTLESEA Community House has programs for all ages and stages with its Ladies Lunch returning for 2026.
Every second and fourth Thursday of the month, ladies can change the pattern of their lives and connect with each other over lunch at the Whittlesea Community Activity Centre, 57-61 Laurel Street, Whittlesea, beween 11.30am and 1.30pm.

Amid the healthy food choices, vegetarian and gluten-free options are available.
A gold coin donation is appreciated and this goes towards helping cover the cost of the meal, as this program is unfunded.
The community-driven organisation has produced a 2026 calender and its free of charge.
The content includes dates of importance to all communities and events which are being held at the centre.
Manager Mary-Lynn Griffith said: “We like to have activities that brings everyone together – from Bubble Wrap Apprecaation Day to Red Hand Day which remember child soldiers.”
“A community member saw Law Enforment Appreaciation Day [January 9] highlighted and suggested we make biscuits as part of Fix it Friday and she visited and surprised the local station with them.
“On Fix it Friday [the fourth Friday of each month] we have face-to-face legal and social services outreach programs. A lot of people out here do not have smart phones. It’s important to bridge the gap socially and emotionally in a non-judgemental space.”
Fix it Friday’s includes Orange Sky Free laundry services to support people experiencing homelessness or hardship by providing a free laundry service. Its bright orange bus is fitted out with two commercial sized washing machines and driers. Washing detergent is included at no cost.
