THE five hour trip from Seymour to Young in NSW paid off for Don Dwyer on Saturday when he scored with the maiden galloper These Boots in a Class B 1600 metre race.
These Boots was the sale topper in the 2023 New Zealand Bloodstock book 2 yearling sale in 2023, being sold for $160,000. Formerly trained by the Hayes team; These Boots had started six times prior to Saturday and had not raced for four months before having his first start for Dwyer.

These Boots is a son of Proisir and his dam is the Savabeel mare Savvy Walk.
