IT was a fun day out at the Mitchell Rangers Soccer Club junior presentations held recently.

The club has had an exciting season, and it is all thanks to thrilling matches with standout individual and team performances.

The club also attributes its success to the commitment of its coaches, volunteers, families and supporters.

Presentation events are a perfect opportunity to acknowledge the committee for the governance role they play in shaping the club—just to name a few, they take responsibility for facilitating safe training and playing venues, registering players, recruiting, networking and organising fundraising and events.

“A huge thank you goes out to our players, coaches, volunteers, families and supporters,” they said in their recent newsletter.

“Your passion and commitment have made this season such a success, and we couldn’t have done it without you.”

Nominations for the next seasons committee roles will be a feature at the clubs Annual General Meeting to be held on Wednesday, October 15 at 7pm at their club rooms in Mollison Street.

The club welcomes nominations from people of all ages, backgrounds, and experiences and prior committee experience is not necessary, just an enthusiasm for soccer!
