Wallan has kept its position in the top four with a 35-point win against Kyneton at Greenhill Reserve.
The Magpies dominated in the first term, piling on eight goals, with two each to Cameron Cloke, Max Russell and Victor Micallef.
Momentum slowed in the second, however with two goals each to either side saw the Magpies take the lead into the main break with 31 points.
Time ticked by slowly in the third quarter, with only one goal kicked in the way of Micallef who found his third for the afternoon.
The Tigers did everything they could in the fourth quarter to come back fighting, putting six on the board, however the Magpies continued to find answers and kicked a further five themselves to win 16.11 (107) to 11.6 (72).

Romsey
Top-of-the-table Diggers Rest proved too good for Romsey winning by 44 points at Romsey Park.
Romsey started off slow with only two goals in the first half, but was only down by 22 points into the main break.
Despite efforts to keep up with the Burras, Romsey couldn’t narrow its margin and a six-goal final term bythe visitors saw the final score write 14.11 (95) to 7.9 (51).
Romsey’s best included Nathan Rayment, Corey Pertzel, Matthew Milburn, Ethan Beer, Callum Lever and Jaxson Kinnear.
Lancefield
Lancefield remain winless this season, going down by 32 points to Macedon at Lancefield Park.
The first half of the match was something for Lancefield to be proud of: the Tigers kicked four goals straight in the first quarter, to Macedon’s two goals and sloppy eight points.
Three goals to Lancefield to Macedon’s four however in the second term saw the visitors take a narrow two-point lead into the main break.
The half time rest was all Macedon needed though to gain momentum in the third term to kick a very healthy 11 goals to Lancefield’s six.
With nothing scored in the final quarter, Macedon ran away with a 15.23 (113) to 13.3 (81) win.
Riley Omeara, Max Taylor, Ned O’Connell, Leroy Ristevski, Zachary O’Halloran and Harry Behanwere named in Lancefield’s best.
Goulburn Valley Football League
Rochester was far too good for Seymour at Moon Oval, taking home a 79-point victory, keeping the Tigers third on the ladder by percentage.
A promising start to the Lions saw them trail just by four points at quarter time; had they been slightly more accurate, they may have just had the lead.
Foot on the pedal, the Tigers kicked six goals to the Lions’ one to lead by 24 points at the main break.
Seymour was kept goalless in the third term, while Rochester kicked a further four, before storming home with another four in the final quarter to secure its 18.11 (119) to 5.10 (400 victory.
Nicholas Quigg, Jack Murphy, Lachlan Beattie, Dylan Cook and Lucas Cavigan were named in Seymour’s best.
Northern Football Netball League
Kilmore had a bye and return to the field in round 12 facing bottom-of-the-table Lalor at Lalor Reserve.
