Scarlett was presented with the award at a special ceremony held last month in St Kilda, Melbourne, where she celebrated her outstanding achievement.

Our Lady of the Way Primary School French teacher Sonia Cook, who was incredibly proud of her student, praised Scarlett’s efforts in the competition.

“I am incredibly proud of Scarlett and her achievement in the Alliance Francaise Berthe Mouchette Poem Competition,” she said.

“With strong competition from schools across Victoria, receiving an honourable mention is truly an impressive accomplishment.”
