Kilmore travelled to play against Lancefield Black who won the toss and elected to bowl first.
Kilmore selected Taylah Logie and Jaye Price to open the batting. Logie retired on 50 runs around the end of the 11th over, but unfortunately, Price was bowled out immediately by Luzanne Paeglitis.
Justine Muston shone on the pitch, making 25 runs, including five 4s. The Kilmore innings finished three out for 108.
Standout batters for Lancefield included Nat Jeffery, who put up 48 runs.
Despite straight bowling from Logie, Chloe D’Elia, and Muston, Lancefield were victorious and finished five out for 109.
Meanwhile, Wallan travelled to play Lancefield Yellow.
The away team’s Terrie Haydon was up first, and made 71 big runs, including 12 4s.
Haydon remained on the pitch for the entirety of the game. Lancefield’s standout batter Hayley Fisher put up 26 runs before she was caught out by Kerri Curran.
The match ended in Wallan’s favour, eight out for 140 to Lancefield Yellow, who was eight out for 106.
The league will return on Sunday, February 2 for round 11.
