Since 2021, the Nutrien Ag Solutions Community Grants Program has awarded more than $750,000 in grants to 167 community-led projects, helping to create long-term positive outcomes for rural places.

Nutrien Harcourts Kilmore Principal Jeanette Laffan said the Kilmore District Men’s Shed was a worthy recipient of the funding.

“Our team love being part of the Mitchell Shire community, and we are very proud to support a wide range of projects that meet community needs and enhance our region,” she said.

“Kilmore District Men’s Shed will receive $2400 for new sanding equipment. This will enable the organisation to meet the needs of its growing membership, and continue its community projects and support for men’s health and wellbeing.”

The Nutrien Ag Solutions Community Grants Program is run in partnership with the Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal (FRRR).

The fourth round of the program is expected to open in June 2025.
