Last week in harness racing, a Wallan leasee of Let her Roll shared in the prize money when the filly came second at Melton Entertainment Park’s harness racing track.
The Let her Roll syndicate entered the bay pacer filly into race six of the Captain Crunch Vic Bred Super Series for 2YO fillies, with 24-year-old James Herbertson driving, and were thrilled when Let her Roll came second with the prize money reaching the value of $24,000.
Leasee Julie Wood was excited about the filly’s prospects.
“The group of us who own her are having a lot of fun. We have a horse and love going to the races,” she said.
Ms Wood hopes to have many more wins when Let her Roll competes in the 3YO group.
“She is a reliable horse … so we have high expectations [for her] as a 3-year-old which is for next season,” she said.
