A Wallan man has faced court over the disappearance and alleged murder of Craigieburn resident Adrian Romeo.
Mr Romeo was last seen by his family about 5.30pm on Saturday, 10 February at his home address, and reported missing to police on Monday, 12 February.
Though Mr Romeo remains yet to be located, last Thursday, detectives from the Homicide Squad arrested and charged a 58-year-old man with his murder.
The charge follows a search of a Brendan Road property in Greenvale on Thursday which involved a range of specialist resources including Dog Squad, Major Crime Scene, the SES, AFP’s specialist forensic search team, and the NSW Police Force cadaver dogs.
Police are continuing to appeal for information in relation to the whereabouts of Mr Romeo’s gold 2004 Toyota Camry sedan, which has not been seen since his disappearance.
An image of his vehicle, as well as photos of Mr Romeo, have been re-released.
