The Whittlesea Football Netball Club’s ladies’ day for 2024, A Touch of Pink, was a roaring success thanks to the Eagles Community.
The day raised funds for the McGrath Foundation, to support the work the organisation does for those impacted by breast cancer.
Stacey Coates and Cassie Stewart were the organisers for the day, and it was through their efforts that the day was a huge success.
Guest speakers included breast care nurse Carley Rowe, and local mum Sarah Young, who both delivered inspiring speeches during the afternoon.
The ladies in attendance were full of praise for the day, with many thanking the organisers, the catering team, and the Club’s bar staff.
“What a wonderful couple of weeks we have had with everyone supporting us,” one of the ladies in attendance said.
“And winning the football helps!”.
