Eight Broadford people in a syndicate won division one of the weekend’s Super 66 draw.
The Broadford Newagency syndicate, called Super Duper 66, was the only division one winning entry in Super 66 draw 4391 on Saturday and took home a total prize of $114,281.15.
Each of the eight syndicate members receives a share worth $14,285.97.
However, some members of the winning syndicate may not yet realise their good fortune, prompting lottery officials to urge players to check their tickets as soon as possible.
“While we’ll be reaching out to those syndicate members who registered their entries, there are some who have unregistered entries and may not yet know they’re part of this winning group,” The Lott spokesperson Matt Hart said.
“If you discover you’re holding a winning share, call The Lott on 131 868 to start the prize claim process.”
Broadford Newsagency store manager Amber Lunn said the team was excited to hear their outlet had sold a division one winning syndicate.
“We‘re extremely delighted to have sold a division one entry in Super 66. It was an eight-share store syndicate we had set up recently that’s been quite popular,” she said.
“Our customers will be thrilled to hear the news. I’m sure it will create a lot of excitement in the community as it has been over eight years since this store has sold a division one winning entry.
“Congratulations to all the syndicate winners. It’s a great achievement for our store and we hope to sell more winning entries in the future.”
The winning numbers were 4, 1, 4, 0, 0 and 7.
