After a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the annual Wandong Community Christmas Carols is set to make a grand return on Sunday, December 18.

Festivities at the Davern Reserve Community Centre, in Dry Creek Crescent, Wandong, will start at 4.30pm with a free sausage sizzle, face painting and Santa Claus arriving on the Wandong fire brigade truck.

The carols, commencing at 6.30pm, are expected to be ‘the biggest and best yet’ with six choirs featuring, including the Joy of Life Choir, the Wandong Primary School Choir, Soul Voices Gospel Choir and the Tangent Choir.

Raffle ticket sales close at 6.30pm at the event, with winners drawn during the carols.

The organising committee is excited to revive and once again host the Wandong Community Christmas Carols and thanked its major sponsor, the Bendigo Community Bank, as well as the many volunteers that made the event possible.
