Grants for performers to tour Victorian regions

Popular Stories

Some of Victoria’s most diverse performers will be able to take their art to regional and outer-metropolitan areas, as the State Government is supporting artists through Touring Victoria.

Grants between $10,000 and $250,000 will be provided to support tours for Victorian artists and cultural organisations that wish to deliver their best production and performances.

Audiences can look forward to regional tours from the program’s most recent round of grant support, including Kutcha Edwards, all-female circus-comedy show Trash Test Dummies, The Australian Ballet, and many more acts to come.

Member for Northern Victoria Jaclyn Symes is backing the program, encouraging people to make an application for the State Government’s Touring Program Victoria.

She said the program was tying the community together, and allowed people to have cultural experiences.

“Touring Victoria not only brings amazing gigs and experiences to northern Victoria, it supports our local creatives to present their work, build their audiences and bring visitors from across the state,” she said.
