UPDATE
MERNDA Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team detectives have charged a man following an incident at a Mill Park shopping centre last week.
The Lalor man was charged with sexual activity in the presence of a child under the age of 16, and sexual exposure in public.
The charges follow an incident at a store where the man allegedly exposed himself on Saturday, May 21 at about 2.45pm.
The 59-year-old presented at a northern suburbs police station yesterday afternoon.
He was charged and bailed to appear before Heidelberg Magistrates’ Court on 29 September.

VICTORIA Police detectives from the Mernda Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team are appealing for public assistance after a man exposed himself at a shopping centre in Mill Park last week.
Police believe the man entered a department store at about 2.45pm on Saturday, May 21.
The man exposed himself whilst in the store and then left.
Investigators have released an image of a man they believe can assist with their enquiries.
The man is described as aged in his late 60s with thinning grey hair and facial hair.
He was wearing a black jumper, grey pants and dark grey runners.
