Attempted theft

An unknown man attended Phone Phix, Wellington Square Shopping Centre, Wallan, at about 8.40pm on May 5, attempting to access the glass cabinets that store various mobile phone and ipad accessories. Phone Phix is in the common area of the shopping centre.

The offender, described as Caucasian, 175cm tall, solid build, dark hair in a man bun, with tattoos on both hands, wearing black hoodie and tracksuit pants, bright yellow sneakers and black sunglasses, was disturbed and left.


Overnight on May 3, two unknown offenders gained entry to a farm on Old Sydney Road, Beveridge by cutting the fences.

Offenders ransacked the unoccupied house, cottage and shed on the property, stealing antique items from the shed.

Theft at Liquorland

At 10.15am on Saturday, an unknown woman attended Liquorland, Kilmore. The woman selected a bottle of vodka from the shelf and placed it in a shopping bag. She then selected a bottle of chardonnay and placed it in the same bag.

The woman approached the counter and paid for the $4 bottle of chardonnay before leaving the store, making no attempt to pay for the vodka, valued at $56.

She is described in her mid 50s, light coloured hair wearing a purple short sleeve top and blue jeans.


Between April 25 and 29, unknown offenders attended Kilmore East Recreation Reserve, on O’Gradys Road, and removed a timber bench seat that was bolted to the ground behind the tennis court. The timber seat is made of yellow box and is valued at about $500.

Theft of registration plates

Unknown offenders removed and stole the front and rear registration plates to a vehicle parked on Avenel Road, Seymour between 11pm on May 2 and 6pm on May 3. The plates were valued at $45.
