THE Kilmore and District Little Athletics Club has completed another summer of athletics, with many young athletes winning big in a successful season.
Some alterations were made to the season, with meetings being on Friday evenings rather than Saturday mornings due to JJ Clancy Reserve being used as a COVID-19 testing facility. Athletes still did their best to perform after long school days.
This season saw records broken, with under eight girls competitor Zara Gill breaking multiple centre records in her first season. On occasion, she would break her own record again the following week.
The next season of athletics is expected to return in October 2022, depending on possible COVID restrictions and upcoming development works at the reserve.
