Volunteers will come together for Clean Up Australia Day events on Sunday, giving particularly areas of towns a spruce up.
In Wandong Heathcote Junction, organisers are asking volunteers to meet at Wandong Railway Station car park at 9am, with the clean up to conclude at 12 noon.
Vests, gloves and water will be provided but participants are advised to use sunscreen and wear a hat.

Wallan Scouts will also clean up the creek and parkland on Wednesday March 9, while volunteers will also clean up Hadfield Park on Thursday.
The First Broadford Scout Group will clean up the Broadford township, while the First Kilmore Joey and Cubs will give the Kilmore East Train Station area a tidy up on Sunday.
Other events on Sunday include: 10 Bridgewater Parkway, Wallan, meeting at 10am; Costellos Road/ Kilmore Creek; and Seymour Lions Club will clean up Lions Park from 10am.
