The Rangers’ senior men’s team began training last week, with the senior women to commence their pre-season from February 1 and juniors beginning on February 8. Committee member Jack Keane said all new players would be welcome.

“It’s a great way to get out and have a bit of fun and exercise while meeting new people,” he said.

Training sessions will be on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. The club trains at Broadford Recreation Reserve, corner of Mollison and Pinniger streets, behind Broadford Secondary College.

The senior and reserves men’s home-and-away seasons will begin on Saturday, March 19 and finish on August 27. The senior women’s and junior seasons will commence on Sunday, April 24 and conclude between August 28 and September 11.

Dates for an all-abilities season have yet to be confirmed.

“We’re looking for anyone of any skill level, men, women or junior to join,” Mr Keane said.

“Anyone who is interested can message us on our Facebook page or send us an email.”
