The Riddell District Football Netball League has announced changes to its finals fixture, while also confirming finals venues.
The grand final date has pushed back another week and the finals series has been reduced from three weeks to two, which enables all of clubs to play 16 home and away matches – eight at home and eight away.
The new finals structure will see two semi finals with 1 versus 4 and 2 versus 3 – the winners will progress to the grand final and the losers eliminated.
The seniors’ season resumed on Saturday with a changed fixture, as clubs picked up at round 11, where the season had stopped due to the latest lockdown.
The senior home and away fixture will be played until round 18 on September 18.
Finals and venues are as follows:
Semi-finals, Friday September 24, at Lancefield Recreation Reserve and Romsey Recreation Reserve
Grand final: Sunday, October 3 at Romsey Recreation Reserve
