KILMORE’s Men’s Shed held a successful open day despite threatening weather on Saturday morning, with plenty of people getting a great look at what is on offer at the Shed after celebrating 20 years of operation.
In June, the Men’s Shed had its 20-year anniversary, with past and present members celebrating all of its achievements in its history.
The open day brought many people into the Men’s Shed as items to stir up creativity went on sale.

Vegetable seedlings and plants were popular items across the day, while plenty of other items that have been created or 3D-printed were also on offer.
The workshop was open to view, as was the plant display and garden shed, while classic cars, trucks and tractors were also on display. People also got to enjoy a barbecue throughout the morning as well.
The Men’s Shed is open three times a week, with groups coming together on Mondays and Tuesdays for practical work, as well as a more informal Thursday session.
