THE City of Whittlesea has launched an election commitment tracker, keeping the public informed about the upcoming election promises being made for the community.
The tracker, available on the council’s website, provides a succinct and informative recap of each commitment made, including the announcement date, the party who made the promise and the amount of funding that has been committed.
Currently, commitments have been made by the Victorian Labor Party to upgrade a section of Findon Road, improve pedestrian safety at the Beech Street and Church Street roundabout and fund a dedicated Youth Centre in South Morang.
The Liberal-National Coalition have pledged more than half a billion dollars towards removing the Donnybrook Station level crossing, as well to upgrade a 6km section of Donnybrook Road between Dwyer Street and Epping Road.
Locals can find the election tracker on the City of Whittlesea website.
