PEOPLE interested in Kilmore Hospital and its ongoing future expansions to cater for the rapidly growing population have been urged to attend a public meeting tomorrow at 7.30pm.
The CEO of Northern Health Epping, Adjunct Professor Debra Bourne, will be in attendance and will give a speech to those interested.
Ms Bourne has had more than 30 years of experience in the public health sector and was one of the first to be endorsed as a rural and remote nurse practitioner.
Northern Health merged with the hospital in 2023 and serves a population of around 45,000 people, making it a critical element in the growing region’s healthcare infrastructure.
The lecture will be of particular interest to Kilmore locals, discussing the future of the hospital.
The event will be held at the J.J. Clancy Reserve Community Recreation Hub and will require a gold coin donation upon attendance, presenting an opportunity to question senior Northern Health officials before enjoying a light supper afterwards.
