TWO men were charged by the Whittlesea Crime Investigation Unit following a number of alleged carjacking’s throughout Mill Park.

A 42-year-old Pascoe Vale man and an 18-year-old Bundoora man were arrested after an alleged carjacking outside a shopping centre on Childs Road, then two more attempted carjackings near a primary school in Mill Park, and finally another attempted carjacking at a 7 Eleven on Childs Road again.

Travelling in a purple Holden Commodore, they were seen driving erratically at various locations through Bundoora and Mill Park.

Soon after, the pair were intercepted by police at a shopping centre carpark on McDonalds Road in South Morang.

The pair will be charged with four counts of attempted carjackings, possession of ammunition, cannabis, methylamphetamine and non-prohibited person possess firearm charges.

The pair is set to face court in the near future.
