LANCEFIELD have stormed into the RDFNL women’s grand final, defeating Riddells Creek by 55 points at Lancefield Park.
It opened the day with four goals in the first quarter, keeping the Bombers scoreless.
More dominance in the second saw them up by 48 points at half-time, again keeping Riddell without a score.
Another goal was kicked in the third for Lancefield until a forced forfeit for the Bombers from the game due to too many injuries.
Alice and Lilly Bromley were best for Lancefield, with Molly Libardi, Emily O’Brien, Caitriona Goldsworthy and Esme Keen also named strong.
It moves Lancefield onto next week’s decider against Macedon, against easily the best side in the competition, but also knowing anything can happen in grand finals.
The match will take place at Tony Clarke Reserve this Saturday at 5pm.
