THE Mitchell Shire Council successfully held the Lights on the Goulburn festival on Saturday night, with Seymour’s Goulburn Park lighting up and celebrating the Seymour community with a spectacular lighting display.
Various facilities around the park were lit up, celebrating the contributions of Seymour’s tireless community groups, including the Seymour Lions Club, Seymour Rotary and Gnarly Neighbours.
The night saw appearances from the CFA, local police and SES to help provide displays, while various food trucks and local performers also entertained the crowd.
It was a night which was designed to help Seymour after a torrid period which had seen the town affected by recent flood and bushfire events by increasing community connection.
