THE Mitchell Shire Council and Greater Beveridge Community Centre will come together to celebrate everything about Beveridge with the launch of the ‘We are Beveridge’ exhibition.
The artwork has been created by local artist Justine Barlow, stemming from conversations which were shared with more than 100 Beveridge locals throughout spring 2025.
This included members from community groups, which included the Beam Environmental Group, Social Dance Group, the local CFA, art groups, martial arts and dance schools, which have created unique art pertaining to the Beveridge experiences.
As a result, the artwork features 13 art poles, as well as a large painted tree-trunk bench, which is adorned with symbols and stories which tell the story of the Beveridge community.
These works will be installed in the front garden of the Greater Beveridge Community Centre.
The launch will be held at the free community celebration at the centre, located on the corner of Lithgow Street and Mandalay Circuit on Wednesday, February 4 from 12pm, with local dancers, musicians and light lunch.
