THE second edition of the Guide to Broadford’s Butterflies will be launched at the Broadford Newsagency on Saturday as new butterflies have been discovered.
The guides co-creator Jeni Kalowsky said five new butterflies have been discovered in the area and the guide will encourage locals to explore the great outdoors.
“Thanks to the ongoing dedication by nature enthusiasts and an outpouring of support from the Broadford Community and beyond, the second edition of the Guide to Broadford’s Butterflies has been finalised and printed,” she said.
Local artist, Merry Puddy, founder of Minnow Art, has made limited-edition artworks depicting some of the Butterflies.
Ms Puddy has cleverly curated these into postcards, gift cards, small, framed works and gift packs for sale at the launch.
