TABILK based trainer, Saab Hasan scored a welcome win with the five year old maiden Highly Intrigued at Wangaratta on Saturday. The Tabilk based trainer has given the mare plenty of time, having trained her dam Intrigo.

Intrigo raced 37 times for five wins and thirteen placings, including three city wins, before going amiss.

Local studs have been holding their annual stallion parades over the last few weeks, showcasing their stallion talent.

Northwood Farm Lovatsville highlighted Move to Strike, Royal Meeting, Fierce Impact, Generation and Gold Trip.

Royal Meeting has enjoyed a strong start to his stud career, with Blue Diamond winner Hayasugi amongst his progeny, and being the leading first crop sire in Victoria.

Guests at the parade were treated to a barbecue with sausages from Seymour’s very own Taurus Butchery and wine from Whitehead Creek Winery and Brave Goose.
