SEYMOUR residents and visitors are facing road closures over the next fortnight, with the Mitchell Shire Council carrying out resurfacing and safety upgrades.

The works will be weather-dependent, with rain forecast during the week.

Workers will carry out works on the Oak Street and Wimble Street roundabout from June 11 to June 13 between 7am and 5pm, with resurfacing works and the installation of speed cushions where the main work will be carried out.

Detours will be available via Tarcombe Road and Delatite Road.

Resurfacing works will be carried out on the High Street and Wallis Street roundabout from June 19 to June 22 between 7pm and 5am.

Detours will be available via the Goulburn Valley Highway and Redbank Road.

High Street resurfacing works will also be carried out between June 19 and June 20, between Crawford Street and the Wallis Street roundabout.

Drivers are encouraged to use the detours via the Goulburn Valley Highway and Redbank Road.

Property access will continue to be maintained during the works, while emergency services can also pass through.

Traffic controllers will be in place to guide drivers through the works and subsequent detours.

Beveridge residents are reminded that road resurfacing works will be carried out this week, with Lithgow Street set to be resurfaced between 7pm and 5am from Wednesday to Friday.
