MITCHELL Rangers played their first All-Abilities game of the season, travelling to Thornbury to take on the Northern Falcons.

The Northern Falcons were able to score as the first half came to an end, but as the second half started, it was Mitchell Rangers who were able to come out breathing fire, scoring three goals.

It was a terrific outing for their first game of the season.

Mitchell Rangers are still seeking their first win in the men’s state league five North and women’s state league three North.

The men’s team lost a thrilling game to Doreen United 2-1, with William Mulvey scoring the first goal of the season for Rangers in the 29th minute.

Mitchell Rangers’ women were unable to get the better of Dallas City, who scored a 7-0 win on Sunday in their second-round clash.
