A fundraiser and raffle are in the early planning stages to raise funds and to connect with the community and get them excited about butterflies and nature conservation.

Already generous groups and businesses are helping, but a little bit more is needed to continue bringing such joy to the community.

The free to attend fundraiser will be held on Saturday, April 26 at Magic Touch Nursery, 82 High Street, Broadford from 10am to 4pm.

Participants will be able to view the fabulous raffle prizes including a painting titled Backyard Bees by local artist Taylah Proctor and an insect wall mosaic by Oakmillcreations.

There are also $50 gift vouchers to win and spend at Magic Touch Nursery, Duck Inn Café, and Broadfeed pet supplies.

Tickets for the raffle can also be purchased from Broadford Allied Health and the News agency for $2 each, 3 for $5, or 7 for $10, and the lucky winners will be drawn on Wednesday, April 30 at 5pm at Terry White Chemmart.
