CONSTRUCTION for a $13.5 million state-of-the-art clubhouse is now underway at Halcyon Highlands, a land lease community designed for over 55s in Mickleham.
Designed by award-winning architects ClarkeHopkinsClarke and built by Insitu Group, the new clubhouse will provide homeowners with a range of resort-quality facilities that support an active lifestyle and community connections.
The clubhouse will provide homeowners with access to facilities like a modern lounge and bar, library, games equipment, and gold-class style cinema, as well as a wellness precinct with premium sports facilities, including a heated pool, pickleball court, fully equipped gym, and golf simulator.
Halcyon Highlands lies within Stockland’s established and award-winning masterplanned community, Stockland Highlands, with access to schools, shops, major sporting facilities, nature reserves, and playgrounds. The community is also close to transport links including Craigieburn station, Tullamarine Airport, the Hume Highway, and bus services.
Once complete, Halcyon Highlands will comprise around 239 architecturally designed homes, each with a 7 star energy rating and a 3.9 kilowatt solar system as standard.
Stockland Halcyon Victoria General Manager James Westh said the construction marked an exciting milestone for the organisation.
“We understand that Victorians over 55 years of age are looking for more than just a home—they want to experience an active and dynamic lifestyle close to friends and family, with quality amenities close by,” he said.
“The new clubhouse will provide home owners with a range of premium facilities that cater to group sports and recreation, social activities like the cinema, or a space to relax in the wellness precinct, meaning there’s something for everyone.
“We look forward to seeing the Halcyon Highlands community enjoy the space once we complete construction of the clubhouse, which is expected in early 2026.”
