The latest round of the State Government’s Together More Active sports grant program is now taking applications.
The grant program supports sport and recreation organisations by promoting participation and enhancing volunteer and workforce development by offering three funding streams, including Sector Capability Building Funding, Inclusive Participation Project Funding, and Workforce Development Project Funding.
A key initiative of the State Government’s Active Victoria strategy, the program will help to support the government’s commitment to ensuring more people can enjoy participating in the sports they love.
Minister for Community Sport Ros Spence said the program would help keep Victoria alive in the sporting world.
“This program is all about supporting sporting organisations and their volunteers and staff, so we can help more Victorians experience the many benefits of playing sport and staying active,” she said.
“Our aim is to create inclusive environments that welcome people and encourage them to get involved in sport—from players to volunteers to paid staff.”
Applications close on January 29, 2025. For more information, visit www.sport.vic.gov.au.
