Wandong’s Community Christmas Carols event is back, and this year it’s set to be bigger and better than ever before.

Scheduled for this Sunday, December 15, the festive event will kick off at 4.30pm with a myriad of activities, including a free sausage sizzle, a magic show, and face painting.

For those that missed out earlier in the month, attendees will also be provided with one last opportunity to get their hands on a potentially winning raffle ticket for the Wandong Heathcote Junction Community Group and Wandong History Group’s exciting Christmas draw, featuring three deluxe prizes.

At 6pm, Christmas legend Santa will trade in his sleigh for the Wandong Fire Brigade’s jolly red firetruck, rolling in to the Community Centre at Davern Reserve to greet both the young and the young-at-heart.

At 6.30pm, the ultimate stars of the show—the carollers—will hit up the mics to entertain the crowds.

Featuring the angelic voices of the Joy of Life Choir, the Wandong Primary School Choir, the Tangent Choir, the violin ensemble Whiz Kids and soloist Vivian Kenney, this joyous event is one not to be missed!

So, come along and celebrate the spirit of Christmas with friends and family—it’s sure to be an unforgettable evening of holiday cheer.
