Tastes of the Goulburn was recently awarded bronze at the prestigious Victoria Tourism Awards, which recognised the event’s contribution to regional tourism.

The annual not-for-profit food and wine event in Seymour, organised by dedicated volunteers, was honoured in the Festivals and Events Category, alongside the Port Fairy Folk Festival (gold) and the Adventure Park Winter Glow Festival (silver).

Trawool Estate was also named as a finalist in this year’s awards for the 4-4.5 Star Deluxe Accommodation.

Tastes of the Goulburn has grown to become a highly anticipated regional festival, drawing locals and visitors alike and reinvesting every dollar back into the community.

Co-Chair Anna Rogan said the win was a moment of immense pride for everyone involved.

“This award is a testament to the hard work of our dedicated volunteers and the incredible producers, winemakers, and creatives who make Tastes of the Goulburn so special,” she said.

“It’s a celebration of the Goulburn Valley and everything that makes our region such a fantastic place to live, visit, and explore.

“The recognition from the Victorian Tourism Awards validates the years of effort that have gone into transforming Tastes into a standout event for the region.

“It’s not just about food and wine, it’s about creating genuine investment in our communities and inspiring a sense of pride and excitement for what we have here in the Goulburn Valley.”

Tastes of the Goulburn will return on April 16, 2025.
