The Government is making it easier for families with students in growing suburbs to get to school by increasing bus services in the Wallan Secondary School zone. The increase in services from eight to 11 return trips begins on Monday, July 15, just in time for Term 3.

Member for Yan Yean Lauren Kathage said since launching in June 2021, Victoria’s Bus Plan has improved bus services in more than half of the state’s 79 local government areas by adding more than 4600 extra services each week across metro and regional Victoria.

“These changes will make getting to school easier for Victorian families, particularly in areas like Wallan where demand is growing,” she said.

Wallara Waters will also receive three services to cover their growing student numbers, with Springridge and Aurina Drive also getting an additional service.
