La Dimora Retirement Resort’s most recent open day was a resounding success, with 50 potential residents attending the event.
The event, which was held on Saturday, May 25, began with a quick introduction from Project Director of La Dimora Darren Lee and General Manager of Sales and Marketing at Arcadia Group Alyce Woodrow, who both welcomed attendees to the event.
Classic Move’s Annette Simpson-Rial then followed the introduction with a presentation on relocating, giving attendees invaluable information on how to effectively downsize before moving to the La Dimora Retirement Resort.
Noting that relocating to the La Dimora Retirement Resort would require downsizing by 70 per cent, Ms Simpson-Rial stated that although such a task seemed daunting, it did not have to be, and advised residents to break the challenge into smaller tasks and begin with the linen cupboard, keeping only what is necessary.
“You don’t need to bring everything,” she said. “The old towels you kept for yourself; they can be donated. Those nice ones you kept for guests? Bring those with you, it’s your turn to enjoy them!”
Following the presentation, attendees were treated to a morning tea catered by the Grove Bar and Bistro before touring La Dimora Retirement Resort’s three new homes located in La Dimora Vistas Precinct, Stage 4: the Livorno, Medici, and Trebbio.
Each home is fully equipped and move-in ready, with all supplies connected to give residents the ease and luxury of retirement living.
Marketing Executive Monique Genovese said the open day was a success, with several homes already sold.
“Our guests had a wonderful time at our event on Saturday,” Ms Genovese said. “Classic Moves provided invaluable tips for starting the process of downsizing and decluttering, which were greatly appreciated as you could see most in the room nodding and acknowledging the shared information.
“Guests were impressed by the newly-built villas they toured and their beautiful presentation. Our guests were also struck by how warm and inviting the La Dimora community is.”
