On Saturday the Broadford Golf Club had its biggest annual Royal Children’s Golf Day with money raised from the event going to the Royal Children’s Hospital.
Twenty-nine teams participated in a four person Ambrose with some great team names.



The competition was sorted into two divisions – handicap and non-handicap.
The winners of the handicap were team Slicers of Bruce Ray, Matt Ray, Hayden Rae and Matt Lauder with runners-up Bits and Bargains consisting of Chris Erikkson, Barry Nesbit, Laurie McDonald and Daryl Walls.
The club want to thank their sponsors, Crumbs and Co from Wandong for catering the dinner those who donated to the raffle prizes, all 116 players, and the volunteers that helped around the club and course during the day.
The non-handicap winners were the 4 Joinery and Shop Fitting team of Andrew Lee, Cillian Walsh, Ryan Bell and Wayne Talor with runners-up Sheepy Come Lately of Adam Mumford, Graham Hogg, Lazer and Mark Manchester.
