Burglary – Beveridge
Unknown offenders gained entry to an unoccupied residential premises on Mandalay Circuit, Beveridge, some time between 10pm on August 7 and 8.30am on August 8.
They forced the glass sliding door frame open, and stole a range of household appliances and left the residence.
Burglary – Wallan
Between 7am and 1pm on August 7, offenders gained entry to a residential premises on High Street, Wallan, by forcing the front door open.
The offenders rummaged through the house and stole a gaming console, cash and a broken life-support machine.
Burglary – Kilmore
Power tools and a motorbike were among items stolen from sheds on a property on Coopers Road, Willomavin.
The offenders gained entry to the sheds by cutting locks some time between 8pm on August 6 and 8am on August 8.
Theft of trailer
A box trailer, located behind a gate at a property in Pinniger Street, Broadford, was stolen between 11am and 2.30pm on August 8.
Attempted theft from vehicle
At about 11am on August 9, an offender was observed trying door handles of vehicles parked in a carpark on Anzac Avenue, Seymour. The offender gained entry to one vehicle, which was unlocked, and searched in the vehicle but did not take any items.
Police’s advice for people to prevent themselves becoming a target is to remove all valuables, lock all doors and windows and park in a well-lit area.
Police say people should always have their keys in their possession and do not leave them in an unsecured vehicle.
