Police are investigating a fatal crash near Tallarook that occurred earlier this month.
It is believed a truck came off the Hume Freeway, near Sharpes and Taylors Road, and became wedged under a tree at about 4am on January 4.
Emergency services attended the scene but the driver could not be revived.
