Racing Victoria, RV, has announced that the race meeting scheduled at bet365 Park Kilmore this Saturday, January 14, will commence earlier in the interests of horse and participant welfare.
The Bureau of Meteorology has forecast the temperature to reach 36 degrees in Kilmore on Saturday, prompting the activation of RV’s hot weather policy.
The seven-race card will now commence in the morning at 11.41am and conclude at 3.11pm.

Horses will be required on course one hour prior to race time and an additional veterinarian will be on course to help monitor the condition of horses.
