A Doreen man has been charged with drug trafficking, possessing cannabis and dealing with proceeds of crime after police intercepted a vehicle in Longwarry on Saturday.
The Mazda CX-5 was intercepted by Baw Baw Highway Patrol officers on Koo Wee Rup – Longwarry Road, with 10 kilograms of cannabis found in the vehicle worth an estimated $200,000 street value and $1300 in cash.
Police seized the cannabis and arrested the man.

The 64-year-old man was bailed to appear before Latrobe Valley Magistrates’ Court on August 22.
