Wandong lotto win yet to be claimed

Wandong Post, News and Tatts has sold a winning division one ticket but, as yet, the newly-made millionaire is yet to claim the prize.

The elusive Victorian winner is one of the seven division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4237, drawn on Saturday night. Each entry takes home $1,428,571.43.

However, the Wandong entry is unregistered, which means officials from The Lott have no way of contacting the winner to break the life-changing news.

Instead, they must wait for the ticket holder to come forward to claim their prize.

Wandong Post, News and Tatts owner Bhavik Barot said he was thrilled about the news and couldn’t believe he had sold a division one winning entry.

“We sold a division one winning entry late last year, so it’s very exciting to sell another one,” he said.

“We’re located in a small, tight-knit community, and we can just imagine this win would go a long way for the winner.

“I hope the winner checks their life-changing entry soon and discovers their million-dollar prize.”

The Lott spokesperson Anna Hobdell said she was eager to unite the region’s newest millionaire with their prize.

“It’s likely this winner has been going about their week as normal with no idea they’ve just won $1.4 million!” she said.

“We’re urging all players who purchased a TattsLotto ticket from Wandong Post, News and Tatts to check their tickets today.

“Imagine how exciting it would be to realise you’ve just won $1.4 million. Your plans for the rest of the year could certainly change with those extra digits in your bank account.

“If you discover you are holding the winning ticket, contact The Lott on 131 868 to begin the process of claiming your prize.”

The winning numbers were 3, 26, 23, 34, 7 and 16, while the supplementary numbers were 17 and 35.
