Lancefield Truck Display welcomes enthusiasts and families this weekend

Popular Stories

UP to 200 trucks will make a pit stop at Lancefield this weekend for the Lancefield Truck Display as part of the American Truck Historical Society, ATHS, Australian Chapter.

Jenny Cotterell, from the ATHS Australian Chapter, said the successful two-day event promised fun for both truck enthusiasts and the general public.

“The Lancefield Truck Display is one of the mains displays held each year and it suits to hold it in Lancefield as many of the members are locals in the Kilmore and surrounding areas,” she said.

“Our club is all about truck enthusiasts … but the event is open to the general public too. There’ll be both historical and working trucks on display for viewing.”

ATHS Australian Chapter has more than 450 members Australia-wide, with members from Sydney heading to the Lancefield event to show their trucks. It is a sister club to the American society that has more than 21,000 members.

The Lancefield Truck Display will be this Saturday and Sunday at Lancefield Park, 69 Chauncey Street. Entry for the general public is $10 for adults or $15 for a weekend pass. Children under 16 years old enter for free.

There will be live music on Saturday with catering available throughout the day, with a special catered dinner for $25 on the Saturday night for those camping at the site.
